Position Overview
B&T USA is seeking a Post-Production Quality Control Technician responsible for inspecting and verifying finished products after assembly and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with company standards, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that only conforming products are released for shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform final inspections on completed products prior to packaging and shipment
  • Verify product conformance using visual inspection and precision measurement tools
  • Inspect for fit, function, finish, and overall quality standards
  • Conduct functional testing (as applicable) to confirm product performance
  • Review and confirm completion of all production and quality documentation
  • Identify and document defects, non-conformances, or deviations
  • Segregate and report non-conforming products according to internal procedures
  • Complete and maintain inspection reports, logs, and traceability records
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with production and shipping teams to approve or reject final product release

Required Education, Experience and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to use basic inspection equipment (calipers, gauges, visual aids)
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to follow written procedures and inspection standards

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in firearms, metal manufacturing, or precision assembly
  • Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9001 or similar)
  • Understanding of basic mechanical function testing
  • Experience identifying cosmetic vs functional defects
