Job description

Mail Operator (Troy, MI)
Summary - The BeneSys Mail Operator is responsible for all mail room tasks which include but are not limited to daily incoming office mail, daily outgoing office mail, incoming courier service package delivery (i.e., UPS, FedEx, etc.) and outgoing courier service package pick-up (i.e., UPS, etc.). This role is also responsible for printing the output of the processes ran by the Computer Operations/Production Team.
The Mail Operations Department at BeneSys, Inc. can be characterized as fast paced with the occasional special requests added into the regular daily routine. The Mail Operations Department resides within the Information Technology Department. The Mail Operator is expected to be able to adapt to this environment, completing the required tasks and responsibilities quickly and without error. Attention to detail is very important in this role. The Mail Operator will always represent themselves, the department, and the company with the highest level of professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude always.
The Mail Operator reports directly to the Mail Operations Supervisor and has opportunity for advancement within BeneSys, Inc.
Mail Operator Responsibilities
  • Folding/inserting/mailing
    • QA/verification of counts
    • QA/verification of print quality
  • Backup as coverage is needed for Mail Operator Level 2
    • Courier delivery & pick-up service (UPS, FedEx, etc.)

Qualifications
  • One year experience in related skills applicable to corporate mail room operations
  • Knowledge of current Microsoft Operating Systems a plus
  • Knowledge of current Microsoft Office Versions a plus
  • Good interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job

Work Schedule - Full time. Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30 pm. Required in office (no at-home days).

Pay - The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.00 an hour. Actual salary is dependent on skills, experience, education, and other business factors.
