Receptionist - Mortgage/Escrow Experience Required
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Industry: Mortgage / Escrow / Title / Loan Servicing Location: Onsite
Position Overview
LHH Recruiting is seeking a professional and reliable Receptionist with prior experience in the mortgage, escrow, title, or loan servicing industry for our client in Phoenix, AZ on a direct hire basis. This role is the front line of the office and plays a critical part in customer service, payment handling, and daily office operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk; greet customers in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Accept customer payments and accurately issue receipts
  • Answer and manage inbound phone calls as the first line of contact; some outbound calls required (no collections)
  • Communicate with customers in person, by phone, email, and mailed correspondence
  • Make welcome calls to new accounts
  • Open, sort, and process all incoming mail; stamp checks and distribute documents appropriately
  • Perform daily mail runs, including post office pickup and office mail drop-off
  • File and distribute documents as needed; provide general administrative support
  • Assist with basic office support tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Participate in ongoing training courses to strengthen industry knowledge
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a title company, escrow company, mortgage company, or loan servicing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling payments and documents
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office setting
  • Mature, professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
  • Self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team
