Kohan Foundation Counseling Center – Culver City, CA

Kohan Foundation Counseling Center is currently hiring hybrid Psychotherapist (Associate and Intern Therapist) to join our collaborative, supportive team in Los Angeles, CA. We’re looking for compassionate professionals committed to helping children, couples, and adults reach their mental health goals.

Please Note: This role includes a mix of in-person and telehealth client sessions. Supervision is provided via telehealth. Therapists are expected to be available for some in-person hours ( 4-5 hours per week ) at our Culver City office.
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), or Marriage and Family Therapy Intern to join our team


Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field

  • Active BBS registration (Associate number required)

  • Experience with individuals, couples, and families preferred

  • Ability to use Practice Mate calendar (training provided)


Role Overview:

  • Provide psychotherapy services through a combination of in-person and telehealth sessions

  • Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and treatment plans

  • Attend quarterly team meetings in person

  • Participate in weekly group supervision (held via telehealth)


Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background in counseling or mental health

  • Familiarity with DSM-V and treatment planning

  • Experience with diverse populations, including children, couples, and adults


Schedule:

  • Flexible, self-directed scheduling

  • Part-Time and Full-Time options available

  • Minimum 15-20 clients hours per week 


Compensation:

Administrative Work:

  • $17/hour

Clinical Sessions:

  • $30.00-$35.00/session per session
