Responsibilities

At Post Consumer Brands, we’re determined to bring joy to the table for all, and strong financial leadership makes that possible. As Vice President of Accounting, Planning & Analysis, you’ll own the integrity of our financial reporting while shaping how the business plans, forecasts, and measures performance.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role leads accounting, shared services, SOX, and FP&A, partnering closely with senior leaders across the business and our parent company, Post Holdings. You’ll step into a well-run function with capable leaders in place but bring your experience to elevate it even further. This role is open due to retirement and is perfect for a seasoned accounting and finance leader who thrives at the intersection of technical rigor, strategic thinking, and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and forecast cadence, driving continuous improvement in accuracy, timeliness, and transparency
  • Lead all aspects of financial accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
  • Direct the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and long-range forecasting processes, including SG&A target setting and performance communication
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to executive leadership, providing clear, action-oriented insights that support decision-making
  • Lead and develop a team including Directors of Accounting, FP&A, Financial Shared Services, and the SOX Manager, building strong successors and a high-performance culture
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and advisors, coordinating annual audits and ensuring high-quality outcomes
  • Provide financial leadership for acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, and major business transformations as needed
