Currently we provide service to over 150 rural communities in Missouri and Arkansas, making us one of the largest internet providers in Southwest Missouri. We are growing! Our Fiber Optic Network is expanding and allowing rural homes the same service big cities can provide. It is an exciting time for us, and we would like you to be a part of our team!Directional Drill OperatorTotal Highspeed is looking for a full-time Directional Drill Operator who can work as a part of a team environment while spearheading the fiber-construction process by operating construction equipment and tools. This position calls for an organized, detail-oriented, experienced person with excellent communication skills.ResponsibilitiesOperate Horizontal Directional Drill and other standard underground construction equipment.Sets equipment up including the drill, water tanks, and grounding machines.Drill out following the predetermined drill path to the exit pit.Communicates with Supervisor daily to turn in required paperwork (i.e. Bore log, vehicle maintenance reports, etc.)Cleanup area post construction to county or state standardsWork with an equipment Ground-hand to place conduit and fiber underground setting handholes and completing tie ins.Use equipment to install grounding rods and anchors.Ability to follow directions and instructions as given by management.Any and all other duties assigned by supervisor/lead.Reverse process to install product.QualificationsBe able to operate a variety of digging tools (Experience with Vermeer machines required)Strong knowledge of underground utilitiesAccurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring deviceHave a High School diploma.Maintain a clean, courteous and professional demeanor.Be physically able to lift and move up to 75 pounds.Be willing to work in all weather conditions.Working knowledge of DOT regulations (Vehicle and Operator Qualifications), etcHave a valid state driver's license and a clean driving or safety record.  CDL is required.Be able to work independently & efficiently to meet deadlines.Satisfactory results from a background/employment history investigation and drug screeningCompensationCompetitive PayMedical, Dental, and Vison Insurance401KPaid Time Off
