Summary
The Supervisor - Finished Vehicle Business Development (Regional Sales - Mexico) position for the Mexico market is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, and leading sales teams to achieve targets within Mexico. This role involves managing key accounts, expanding distribution networks, analyzing market trends, and ensuring brand presence across the country.
Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement sales strategies, customer solutions, and presentation materials to support business development activities aligned with corporate objectives to increase market share in Mexico
    • Respond to RFQs with competitive, client-specific solutions
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Pricing, Legal, IT) to ensure seamless onboarding and execution
    • Build long-term relationships with high-potential customers, ensuring account retention and satisfaction
    • Lead customer onboarding process including SOP development, billing setup, and system integration
    • Collaborate with operations, pricing, and compliance teams to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations
    • Provide market intelligence on industry trends, customer demand, and pricing benchmarks
    • Maintain accurate sales pipeline data and prepare regular reports on performance, risks, and forecasts
    • Develop joint business plans with strategic clients to support long-term growth and mutual objectives
    • Represent Glovis in customer visits, and industry events to enhance visibility and credibility
    • Identify new vertical opportunities including e-commerce, automotive, electronics, and industrial clients
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
    • Acquire and manage multinational OEM accounts requiring multimodal logistics support
    • Lead RFQ/RFI responses and align pricing strategy with regional capabilities and customer expectations
    • Serve as primary contact for OEM clients, ensuring consistency in communication and service delivery
    • Design and implement customized logistics programs tailored to global supply chain structures
    • Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling opportunities across multiple services
    • Deliver data-driven performance reviews to maintain transparency and drive continuous improvement
    • Monitor KPIs and financial metrics including gross margin, service level, and client satisfaction
    • Proactively identify risks and lead mitigation plans to ensure service reliability for high-profile clients
    • Represent Glovis in executive-level client meetings, contract negotiations, and global strategy forums
    • Other duties as assigned

Compensation Range
$74,000 - $84,000 annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
