Job Description
Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking a qualified Environmental Project Manager. The Environmental Project Manager leads environmental cleanup and remediation projects and is responsible for the direct technical execution and operational implementation of site-specific work. The PM shall evaluate the technical and regulatory requirements of their assigned sites and lead the development, regulatory negotiation, and implementation of the technical approaches and work plans necessary to achieve contractual Performance Objectives (POs) safely, on schedule, and within budget while meeting regulatory requirements and client expectations. The position requires strong technical knowledge of remediation strategies, excellent project management skills, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at: $150,000 - $160,000.00
The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, for fulltime, benefit eligible positions we offer a variety of benefits including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance as well as 401K with company match.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, manage, and execute environmental remediation projects, including assessment, design, implementation, and closure.
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate field operations, including subcontractors, environmental consultants, and internal team members.
Ensure all work complies with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and company safety policies.
Enforcing strict adherence to the approved Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP) and Quality Control Plan (QCP).
Oversee site investigations, data collection, and interpretation to support remediation decision-making.
Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, and regulatory submittals.
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to clients, stakeholders, regulators, and leadership.
Managing site-level budgets, field schedules, and logistical requirements to ensure uninterrupted progress toward remedial milestones.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Support proposal development and contribute to business growth by maintaining strong client relationships.

Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in a technically related field such as: Architecture, engineering, environmental science, geology, hydrology, chemistry, industrial hygiene or other technically related fields.
Professional Registration: Florida Professional Engineer (PE) or: Florida Professional Geologist (PG).
General Project Management Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience serving as a Project Manager on complex environmental or heavy civil construction projects.
Specialized Regional Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of experience specifically managing environmental investigation and remediation projects at the field operational level within the state of Florida.
Specialized Federal Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of direct experience managing environmental remediation or construction projects for the Department of Defense (DoD), demonstrating familiarity with USACE/Air Force project execution standards.
Strong knowledge of remediation technologies, environmental regulations, and site investigation methods.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects at once.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with regulatory agencies and preparing compliance documentation.
PMP certification or similar credential preferred.
