THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD

The Project Manager (Deputy โ€“ Maintenance) provides day-to-day leadership, coordination, and control of maintenance operations for active facilities, infrastructure, utilities, and equipment at Hawthorne Army Depot. This position supports execution of the contract maintenance program through planning, scheduling, supervision, compliance oversight, work control, and continuous coordination with onsite INDUS Technology management, functional supervisors, and Government representatives. The role is central to implementation of the installationโ€™s maintenance plan, reliability-centered maintenance approach, and computerized maintenance management processes.


Responsibilities
  • Execute full maintenance mission for active facilities, structures, systems, and equipment across the HWAD installation in accordance with contract requirements and the approved maintenance plan.
  • Lead planning, scheduling, coordination, and economic completion of scheduled, preventive, recurring, and unscheduled maintenance work.
  • Develop, update, and administer the site Maintenance Plan, including the Annual Work Plan (AWP), Annual Work Schedule (AWS), Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP), and Recurring Work Program (RWP).
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor, Corrective Maintenance Supervisor, Housing Supervisor, Production Control Supervisor, dispatchers, and other maintenance leads to build and execute monthly and weekly work schedules.
  • Oversee work control and service response activities through the centralized Work Control Section (WCS) and CMMS environment, ensuring work is received, prioritized, assigned, tracked, documented, and closed out accurately.
  • Monitor work status, maintenance data, and monthly reporting to ensure visibility of completed work, unfinished work, and upcoming requirements.
  • Ensure maintenance personnel, subcontractors, and vendors possess the required expertise, qualifications, licenses, certifications, and training documentation necessary to perform assigned work.
  • Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for real property, installed building equipment, utility systems, roads and grounds, and personal property/equipment covered under the maintenance scope.
  • Support preventive inspection and service programs based on OEM manuals, regulatory inspection intervals, and workload-driven priorities.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are performed with strong emphasis on mission readiness, safety, environmental compliance, and service continuity in a munitions-related operating environment.
  • Coordinate expedited maintenance actions when directed for security, environmental, safety, or mission-related requirements.
  • Maintain close working relationships with onsite Team Indus Management, Government representatives, and functional stakeholders to support operational responsiveness and customer service.
  • Support maintenance planning for asset data, inspections, preventive maintenance instructions, resource balancing, and performance monitoring through the CMMS.
  • Assist with development of project scopes, maintenance priorities, abnormal maintenance recommendations, and supporting rationale when required.
  • Monitor and report program execution status with CFM leadership and Chenega corporate office.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned in support of contract performance.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Minimum five (5) yearsโ€™ management experience in Military Base Operations support.
  • Possess and maintain a valid State Issued Driverโ€™s License.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Experience in general supervisory operation maintenance
  • Experience in operations, maintenance or asset management.
  • Knowledge of ISO andย  quality management system program level functions.ย ย 
  • Knowledge of a variety of Army regulations related to the daily operations of an Army installation.
