• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their history, presenting issues, and treatment objectives, ensuring a personalized understanding of each case.
• Deliver effective individual, couples, and family therapy through evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and narrative therapy.
• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with clients to set achievable goals and measure their progress over time.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines, ensuring clients' rights and dignity are prioritized at all times.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic practices and innovations in mental health care.
• Establish strong therapeutic alliances with clients, fostering trust and encouraging open dialogue to promote lasting change.
• Provide practical support and coping strategies to assist clients in navigating life challenges, including relationship issues and personal growth hurdles.

The primary client population for this role comprises individuals seeking detoxification services, many of whom experience co-occurring mental health conditions. You will work closely with clients grappling with substance use disorders, employing tailored interventions aimed at addressing both addiction and underlying emotional issues. This dual-focus framework is crucial for encouraging holistic recovery and long-term wellness.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health settings, with an emphasis in private practice preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical competencies in assessment, treatment planning, and applying therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a strong capacity to demonstrate empathy and establish rapport with clients.

• Clinical experience specifically working with individuals coping with substance use disorders.
• Familiarity with remote therapy platforms and documentation software to efficiently manage client records and appointments.
• Previous involvement in evidence-based research practices or continuous quality improvement initiatives in a clinical setting.
