We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager for Store Systems Software (POS) to lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge retail solutions across a vast network of retail locations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the design, development, and deployment of store systems that keep our operations at the forefront of the industry. What You'll Bring to the Table
Required Skills:
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver on tight deadlines in dynamic settings
  • Proven experience managing Agile teams, with a focus on software development lifecycle and process improvement
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, capable of providing constructive feedback
  • Demonstrated leadership in coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
  • Familiarity with contemporary front-end and back-end technologies, including cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Hands-on experience with programming in Python (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of retail systems, processes, and security requirements
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain composure under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of direct experience managing Agile software development teams in a retail or similar environment

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and service-oriented architecture
  • Experience with retail-specific POS systems and integrations
  • Familiarity with industry standards and emerging trends in retail technology
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders and IT groups

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years managing Agile teams delivering store-facing applications
  • Demonstrated success in leading development projects using modern cloud and programming technologies

Other Requirements:
  • Position based onsite in Grapevine, TX, working five days a week
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Commitment to maintaining security compliance and testing standards
  • Willingness to stay current with industry trends and best practices in retail technology
