Sanctuary Medicinals in Woburn, MA is looking to grow our adult use pos sales associate team. We are located on 130 Commerce Way. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged. New team members start at $16/hr wage + weekly tips, with the room for growth and a 50% off discount!

Job Summary

The POS Sales Agent is a key player in ensuring the store operates in compliance with the State of Massachusetts Regulations. POS Agents are a positive representative of Sanctuary’s commitment to serve our community and are passionate about creating a positive retail cannabis experience for all who come to our shops. This includes facilitating a smooth and efficient customer experience and assisting our new/returning customers/patients with accurate information and exceptional product guidance. 

Supervisory Responsibilities

Assure daily compliance with Sanctuary’s policies including but not limited to; state and local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress codes and work schedules. 

Duties/Responsibilities

·       Ability to cultivate customer relationships

·       Compassionate and strong work ethic

·       Detailed oriented and organized

·       Efficiently and effectively solve problems

·       Enjoys working with a diverse community and is a people person

·       Must have knowledge of various strains, genetics, active ingredient profiles including but not limited to THC & CBD and all relevant terminology

·       Must be current on cannabis industry and events

·       Understanding of the different delivery systems and their impact on the user

·       Must be current with all related MA adult use/medical use cannabis rules and regulations

·       Complete monetary transactions accurately and in accordance with Sanctuary’s SOP’s

·       Ensure accuracy for all transactions at the POS

·       Maintain a sanitary work area at all times

·       Maintain organized records of customer/patient interactions

Required Skills/Abilities

·       Excellent communication skills both orally and written

·       Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner

·       Performs well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

·       Flexible schedule. Nights, weekends and holiday availability required.

·       Ability to multi task while staying organized

Education and Experience

·       Must be 21+ years of age

·       High School Diploma or equivalent

·       Must pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions

·       1+ year of hospitality, retail or cannabis experience

·       Previous dispensing/cannabis industry experience a plus

·       Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements

·       Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time

·       Ability to lift up to 50lbs
