Job Description:

Please take this opportunity to join one of GDIT's fastest long-standing growing programs! US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoW intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.

Responsibilities:

  • Translates documents to and from target language (Portuguese/English) and provides consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation support during virtual and in-person subject matter expert exchanges, conferences, seminars, key leader engagements, and/or other exchanges in the U.S. or abroad.
  • Conducts dissemination of finalized U.S. products in support of coalition information sharing requirements.
  • Disseminates information in support of real-world efforts and utilizes best practices to ensure information is discoverable and made available to the right person at the right time and in a usable format.
  • Works closely with U.S. producers in disseminating their information to Coalition networks.
  • Provides feedback and metrics to leadership relating to dissemination, and consumption of products across various networks.
  • Conducts research for national security, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and geopolitical vulnerability.
  • Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operational success.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence analysis.
  • Provides US BICES and US BICES-X training support to U.S. and Partner Nation Users as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Native/Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese is required (ILR Level 5 equivalent).
  • Experience translating highly technical/complex documents and interpreting (consecutive and simultaneous) during professional events.
  • 10+ years of intelligence analysis or translation/interpretation experience required.
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence analysis.
  • Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.
  • Must have a current passport.
  • Must be able to travel to SOUTHCOM AOR countries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with CCMD Foreign Disclosure Officers (FDO) in working to get products released to a wider audience than originally intended.
  • Experience researching and writing intelligence reports.
  • Experience supporting multinational customers preferred.
  • Experience working with deployed personnel preferred.
The likely salary range for this position is $85,093 - $105,800. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
