Job Summary:

We are seeking caring and reliable Personal Care Assistants to provide in-home support to our clients. As a Personal Care Assistant with Altra Homecare of Kokomo, you will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

โ€ข Assist with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene
โ€ข Provide medication reminders
โ€ข Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
โ€ข Support safe mobility and ambulation
โ€ข Assist with range-of-motion exercises
โ€ข Take and record vital signs (such as temperature)
โ€ข Maintain a safe and clean living environment
โ€ข Perform light housekeeping and laundry
โ€ข Provide companionship (conversation, reading, letter writing)
โ€ข Observe and report changes in client condition
โ€ข Complete required documentation and follow care plans
โ€ข Follow privacy and infection control guidelines

Qualifications:

โ€ข Must be at least 18 years old
โ€ข Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
โ€ข Ability to read, follow care instructions, and document services
