Your Responsibilities
  • Performing detailed patient assessments, ordering necessary tests, and crafting personalized care plans
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, and chronic health issues, either independently or in partnership with physicians (per your credentials)
  • Providing education to patients and families about wellness, prevention, and disease management

Education & Certification Requirements
  • A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Required Certifications
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Oregon
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or must obtain within 90 days)
