Job description

Position Overview

The Manager, Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides operational leadership for the execution, coordination, and delivery of enterprise artificial intelligence initiatives. This role is responsible for translating program strategy into actionable plans, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, and supporting consistent, highquality delivery of AI solutions.

The Manager works closely with directors, product leaders, technical teams, and business partners to manage multiple AI initiatives concurrently, while maintaining focus on governance, timelines, and value realization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Execution: Manage daytoday planning, coordination, and execution of AI initiatives across assigned portfolios.
  • CrossFunctional Coordination: Serve as a primary point of coordination among clinical, operational, technical, and business stakeholders.
  • Business Case & Intake Support: Support development of business cases, intake materials, and prioritization artifacts for AI initiatives.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure initiatives follow established AI governance, risk, regulatory, and approval processes.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes; provide regular status reporting and escalation as needed.
  • Operational Readiness & Implementation: Coordinate activities supporting deployment, change management, and transition to operational ownership.
  • Team Leadership: Lead or support teams of program managers, analysts, or coordinators; reinforce accountability and delivery discipline.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve intake, execution, and delivery processes across AI initiatives.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in program management, operations, digital health, analytics, or technology environments required.
  • Master's degree and 6 years of experience in program management, operations, digital health, analytics, or technology environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing complex initiatives in matrixed organizations preferred.
