Job description

Role Description: As a Portfolio Strategist, you will support the evaluation of our current and future portfolio of games, contribute to gaming investment analyses across genres and business models, and help develop recommendations on portfolio composition that balances risk and return. You will collaborate with senior strategists and cross-functional teams to build models, conduct market analyses, and translate data-driven insights into clear communications for studio and PlayStation Studios leadership.

Responsibilities:

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Contribute to ongoing assessments of our games portfolio across IP, genres, business models, and risk levels, identifying opportunities for growth and diversification

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Conduct analyses on the gaming market, competitive landscape, consumer behavior, and technological trends to support senior leaders in shaping the future of gaming

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Build and maintain portfolio models across multiple iterations, ensuring our games portfolio is tracking toward its investment goals while balancing risk and return

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Support senior strategists and executives with data and analysis that inform decisions about current portfolio performance versus future opportunities

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Take ownership of discrete strategic workstreams and projects on high-impact topics, executing them with guidance from senior team members

Qualifications:

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  3-5 years of relevant experience in strategy, product, or analytics in the gaming industry, or in management/strategy consulting
