The Team You’ll Join  

You’ll join the Portfolio Administration Services team within Trade Services, supporting the day-to-day monitoring and administration of client accounts on Envestnet’s trading and account management platform. This team works in a collaborative, fast-paced environment to execute and review trading activities, support process and technology improvements, and help deliver a best-in-class experience for investment advisors.

How You’ll Contribute   

Provides back-office support and customer service for a book of business Registered Investment Advisors. Serves as the primary point of contact responsible for ensuring data and accounting accuracy in portfolio management software (Portfolio Center), providing monthly and quarterly deliverables (management fee calculations and client report packages), and responding to client requests and questions regarding their data.

• Gains familiarity with Portfolio Services concepts, processes, tools and operational procedures. 
• With guidance, performs a variety of Portfolio Services duties, including: 
• Supporting routine operational activities such as account setup and maintenance, data entry and model implementation, 
• Monitoring assigned work queues and portfolios for exceptions, drift and data issues, 
• Resolving or escalating issues, exceptions, errors and unresolved routine issues, 
• Assisting with onboarding and conversion activities, including data verification, documentation review and portfolio alignment 
• Supporting account reconciliation and issue follow-up activities. 
• Maintains accurate and organized records of completed work and processing activities. 
• Supports trade processing, rebalancing activities, cash movement and model updates in accordance with established procedures and portfolio guidelines. 
• With guidance, executes trade instructions, reviews recommended transactions in accordance with established managed account guidelines and consolidates transactions across accounts for execution and allocation, as appropriate. 
• Performs quality control reviews to ensure transaction, data and portfolio accuracy. 
• Assists with reconciliation activities and researching routine account breaks with guidance. 
• Responds to internal and external inquiries about portfolio activity, account status and operational processes. 
• Assists with testing system enhancements, model updates and process changes. 
• Participates in discussions with business and technical analysts to define and test process and technology improvements that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the investment process. 
• Completes all tasks within established SLA and quality standards. 
• Adheres to regulatory requirements and company and client policies, standards and procedures. 

What You’ll Need to Bring  

•    Candidates should demonstrate the relevant experience, skills, and capabilities needed to successfully perform in the role. Relevant experience may be gained through current responsibilities, prior roles, project work, leadership opportunities, or other comparable experiences.
•    An individual who can work in a high stress environment while focusing on the greater good.
•    Strong attention to detail with an adaptable approach in order to achieve multiple objectives.
•    Maintain an analytical approach by creating ideas to improve required process’ into a manageable procedure.
•    Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external parties.
•    Knowledge of financial markets, equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and ETFS.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Envestnet’s account management processes, procedures, and systems.

Our Investment in You 

This role offers a base salary range of 48,500 - $60,600. The range listed represents a good-faith estimate of base salary compensation for this position and does not include incentive compensation, equity or benefits. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.  This role is eligible for an additional incentive component as part of the total rewards package.
