Meaningful Work From Day One:
The Global Product Manager, Jack Daniel's is an integral role within the Portfolio Strategy & Development Team, supporting both Full Strength and RTD. In this highly collaborative role, you will act as a key partner, brand steward, and primary marketing voice across core internal forums-blending organizational rigor with exceptional stakeholder management to bring innovation, renovation, and geographic expansion ambitions to life while protecting trademark equity. This role supports the entire Portfolio Strategy & Development team and works closely with leaders across the ePMO, Production, Design, and Supply Chain functions to ensure brand growth goals are achieved.
What You Can Expect:
Innovation Execution
  • Brand Liaison to EPMO: Act as the primary bridge between Global Portfolio & Strategy Team and the EPMO team. Ensures brand intent, scope, and strategic objectives are accurately translated into project plans.
  • Portfolio Updates & Alignment: Represents the Portfolio team throughout the development process for new products, packaging updates, and geographic expansion projects, serving as the decisive brand voice to keep launches on time and within scope. Facilitates transparent, cross-functional communication regarding project status, milestone risks, and timing updates to the portfolio team.
  • Product Readiness & Compliance: Ensures that legal, regulatory, and packaging design requirements are satisfied across global markets.
  • Portfolio Strategy Execution: Delivers dedicated operational and marketing support across the full portfolio team, playing a critical role in bringing overall portfolio strategy to life through seamless execution.
  • Innovation planning and participation in the Jack Daniel's Global Innovation Council: Play a key role as a member of the Jack Daniel's Global Innovation Council, attending cross-functional Global Innovation meetings with the distilling and production teams in Lynchburg. This role will be responsible for ensuring alignment on timing, quantities, and details of upcoming releases, as well as building the innovation pipeline for the future.
  • Innovation Calendar and Communication: Manage the Innovation calendar and communicate updates to cross-functional partners, including commercial and marketing teams within Regions.

Global Marketing Operations & IBP Alignment
  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure new innovation and packaging renovation projects, as well as current portfolio management, consistently protects Jack Daniel's trademark equity and aligns with overarching brand positioning.
  • IBP Brand Representation: On behalf of the Portfolio team, leads the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, ensuring brand priorities and commercial demand, directly inform Step 1 IBP, global supply chain planning, raw material procurement, and production scheduling.
  • Global Allocation Management: Direct end-to-end global allocation processes in partnership with the IBP team. Collaborate with the broader portfolio team to evaluate demand models, historical performance, and supply limits against strategic brand priorities to set volume allocations-dynamically reallocating stock, tracking market pull-through, and flagging risks and opportunities for high-demand expressions.
  • End-to-End SKU Lifecycle Management: Drive cross-functional SKU management from initiation through retirement across global expressions, negotiating and executing phase-in/phase-out timelines for new offerings, packaging renovations, and line extensions.
  • Inventory Optimization: Partner with Production, Supply Chain, and Finance to monitor inventory and Slow-Moving/Obsolete Goods (SMOG). Make brand-led operational decisions to smooth packaging transitions, optimize working capital, and minimize financial write-offs.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Stakeholder Management
  • Critical Contributor to the Global Jack Daniel's Team: Serve as a key collaborator within the Global Jack Daniel's Portfolio Development team to help build and bring to life future innovation, packaging renovations, and geographic expansion plans.
  • Collaboration within the Jack Daniel's Marketing community: Along with the Senior/ Portfolio Managers, support the Creative & Communications, and Regional Marketing teams by providing clear brand specs, project timelines, and operational guardrails for product launch toolkits.
  • Production & Supply Chain Hub: Serve as the primary marketing contact for Jack Daniel's Production, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning, providing essential brand strategic context and supporting decision making with these partners.
  • EPMO & Product Development Tracking: Serve as the core Portfolio Development Team partner to the EPMO team, ensuring project timelines, scopes, and launch milestones stay on track across all initiatives. Work with the Portfolio Development team to submit and support projects through the WRIKE system.
  • Product Development & Design: Work closely with Packaging, R&D, and Design teams to translate brand requirements into tangible product renovations, line extensions, and new packaging formats.
  • Regulatory & Brand Governance: Collaborate with Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure all global product specs, packaging claims, and market-specific requirements are compliant prior to market entry.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • 7+ years of experience in product development, brand management, or marketing operations within CPG or Beverage Alcohol, with a proven ability to translate brand strategy into operational execution.
  • Proven exposure to Integrated Business Planning (IBP/S&OP), demand forecasting, allocation management systems, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Experience managing complex product development processes, and packaging renovations through cross-functional project management frameworks.
  • Strong capability to analyze financial, category, and inventory metrics (e.g., allocations, depletions, SMOG) to make sound, brand-led decisions that optimize portfolio health.
  • Exceptional relationship builder with a track record of driving collaboration and alignment across functional global teams, including Marketing, Production, Supply Chain, Legal, and EPMO.
  • Capable of managing without authority and through ambiguity.
  • Outstanding ability to translate operational details into clear marketing updates, serving as a decisive, confident voice for the brand.
