Job Description

Responsibilities of Day porter

· Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in common areas

· Wipe down surfaces, doors, and high-touch areas

· Dust furniture, fixtures, and vents

· Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and mirrors

· Restock soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

Safety Responsibilities of Day porter

· Follow safety guidelines (e.g., SDS sheets) when using cleaning agents.

· Wear appropriate PPE (gloves, goggles, masks) when handling hazardous materials.

· Store chemicals securely and away from public or food areas.

· Keep walkways, entryways, and floors clear of spills, debris, and trip hazards.

· Use wet floor signs and other warning signage when cleaning to prevent slips and falls.
