JOB TITLE: Service Technician - Portable Restroom

LOCATION: Santa Barbara

FLSA EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt


POSITION SUMMARY

Ensures that all MarBorg Industries sanitation equipment is serviced according to company standards. Responsible for his/her daily routes along with related paperwork. Ensures customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following.

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily as set forth by DOT guidelines.
  • Operate commercial service truck safely and responsibly in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure the interior of all restrooms are pumped, scrubbed, hand dried, perfumed and paper products are re-stocked.
  • Ensure customer needs are met according to MarBorg’s quality standards.
  • Utilize software to document photos, notes and customer concerns.
  • Ensures all paperwork is completed and daily routes are organized.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to route changes.
  • Keep assigned truck neat and clean.
  • Assists other co-workers when necessary.
  • Inspects equipment before delivery and ensure equipment is clean, in good working condition and meets MarBorg’s standards.
  • Ensures that all equipment is placed on level ground.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

  • Current Commercial drivers license A or B with air brake/tanker endorsement.
  • Minimum one-year general labor and driving experience.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
  • Ability to perform a physically demanding job.
  • Ability to read, utilize GPS systems to read and interpret maps using a tablet or phone.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to route changes.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
