Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network Technician for an onsite position with a leading university located in University Heights, OH. This is a 4-week contract opportunity. This position is fully onsite.
Compensation: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This is a short-term, onsite role focused on providing network support within an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting both wired and wireless network issues, analyzing port data, and ensuring system stability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues
  • Utilize tools like Fluke to test ports and analyze data
  • Work with 802.1x configuration systems

Primary Requirements:
  • Enterprise networking experience
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues
  • Understanding of 802.1x configurations systems
  • Knowledge of how to use a Fluke tool on a port and interpret the data

Desired Skills:
  • Extreme Network Experience
