Service Technician – Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Service Technician


Job Overview

  • Salary/Pay Rate: $28 to $55 per hour plus Performance and Year-End Bonuses.
  • Location: Las Vegas, NV
  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, Weekends, and Overtime.
  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Universal EPA License.


The Opportunity You will step into a senior-level field role within a rapidly expanding HVAC-R platform that is aggressively scaling across the Southwest. This position is designed for an technician who thrives on solving complex mechanical puzzles and wants a clear, stable path toward operational management. You will serve as the technical backbone of the field team, handling high-stakes repairs that keep major commercial infrastructures running.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead advanced troubleshooting and repair efforts on massive commercial systems, including RTUs up to 150 tons.
  • Diagnose complex issues across VRF/VRV systems, hydronic boilers, heat pumps, and advanced controls.
  • Execute precision welding, brazing, and electrical diagnostics for both low and high-voltage applications.
  • Oversee technical quality on major project build-outs, tenant improvements, and box car applications.
  • Support junior technicians in the field by providing real-time guidance and sharing expert-level best practices.
  • Document all service activities and diagnostic findings accurately using our mobile field service platform.
  • Protect key customer relationships through expert on-site communication and professional representation.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of dedicated commercial HVAC experience.
  • Extensive expertise in servicing large-scale package units and complex commercial build-outs.
  • Valid Universal EPA Certification and a clean driver's license.
  • Mastery of advanced field troubleshooting and independent job-site management.
  • High proficiency with mobile dispatching software and digital documentation.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience with commercial refrigeration, rack systems, or chillers.
  • Strong background in controls integration and advanced system diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with hot-side kitchen equipment and industrial mechanical systems.
  • Desire to transition into a Service Manager or Operations leadership role as the company grows.
