CDL Class A Driver - Local Port Drayage (Home Daily) Lee-Exco | Houston, TX

Salary: $24 - $26/hr  Schedule: Full-Time, Mon-Fri (Occasional Sat)

Looking for stability? Join a family-owned company where you are home every night. We are seeking experienced CDL Class A drivers for local container transport between the Port of Houston and local warehouses.

What You Need:

  • Valid Class A CDL & TWIC Card.
  • 2+ years of CDL experience.
  • Clean MVR (no violations in the last 3 years).
  • Ability to pass drug screen/background check.
  • Experience with port drayage and chassis operation (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with ELD systems (Samsara)

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport containers from the Port of Houston to customer facilities and back
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip DVIR inspections
  • Ensure accurate completion of bills of lading and electronic logs
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding delays, equipment issues, or changes to routes

Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and port personnel
