SUMMARY OVERVIEW
The Trainer plays a crucial role in the professional development of new and existing staff. This position involves assessing training needs, developing tailored materials, conducting hands-on sessions, monitoring progress, and providing feedback. The trainer collaborates with management to align training with operational goals, ensuring staff proficiency, safety compliance, and high-quality service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing employees in alignment with company policies and procedures
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to trainees, offering guidance and support throughout their training period
  • Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to customize training programs based on specific job functions and responsibilities
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure that training content remains current and relevant
  • Conduct safety training sessions, emphasizing the importance of adhering to safety protocols and regulations within the airport environment
  • Administer evaluations and assessments to measure trainee competence and adjust training methods accordingly
  • Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, progress reports, and certifications, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with HR and department heads to schedule training sessions and ensure adequate resources are available
  • Provide feedback to management regarding the performance and readiness of trainees for their respective roles
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a continuous learning culture within the airport service company
  • Trainer is required to learn all areas of detailed cleaning of aircrafts, carpets, shroud, customer service and ramp in order to train and ensure compliance
  • Participate in train-the-trainer programs to stay updated on the latest training techniques and methodologies
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that training content accurately reflects job requirements and expectations
  • Uphold a high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct in all training activities, setting a positive example for trainees
  • Operate ground support equipment such as tugs, conveyer belts, forklifts and baggage carts
  • Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).
  • Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
