KEY RES U LT ARE AS
  1. Architecture
Responsible for all IT infrastructures (networks (LAN, WAN), servers, system software and tools, etc.) for OM Ships (Mosbach, Ships, Florence, remote users, etc.) in order for OMSI to be able to efficiently and effectively operate its IT tools.Core activities
    1. Identify/Propose all modifications, changes or new designs for the infrastructure.
    2. Identify/Agree on external service providers, such as, web hosting sites.
  1. Security
Play a significant role in designing and implementing our security systems in order to help ensure our IT systems are safe.Core activities
    1. Audit security systems against agreed plans/policies.
    2. Monitor logs and systems for signs of breaches/non compliances.
    3. Remains current on the potential security risks from external parties and ensures the most recent security protection is available.
    4. Help bring a 'security first' mindset to new systems implementations.
  1. Business Continuity
Responsible for the establishment and execution of a Business Continuity Plan (BCP), including the components of required redundancy, UPS, and back-up/recovery in order to ensure business continuity of the IT systems.Core activities1
