Job description

Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Siloadmax / Top Lift Operator to join our team at our Stack Yard. This dual-role position is responsible for operating specialized equipment to load bulk products into containers and handling container movement within the yard. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Siloadmax Duties:

  • Install bladders into 20-ft containers for bulk loading. 
  • Operate the Siloadmax system, including attaching the bladder spout and starting product flow. 
  • Monitor gauges and instruments to regulate the loading process. 
  • Seal containers once filling is complete. 
  • Maintain associated equipment such as air compressors and generators. 

Top Lift Duties:

  • Operate a Taylor Top Lift to move containers on and off chassis. 
  • Maintain yard organization by strategically placing and stacking containers. 
  • Perform regular cleaning and upkeep of the yard area. 
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance on top lift equipment. 
Requirements:

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in driving heavy equipment is a must.  
  • Previous forklift experience  

PREFERRED EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma  

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures 
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods 
  • Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory management 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderate. Generally, well ventilated, and well lit. Warehouse team members may be required to wear protective clothing. Additionally, may operate heavy equipment and strict safety regulations may be required. 


PHYSICAL EFFORT:

Work is physically strenuous, and team members are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds. Work may require excessive bending or stooping. Team members may be required to climb ladders, use hand tools, and/or use heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, etc.). The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Light duty options may be available.
