Starting wage 30.47

Primary Function: Processing Operator is responsible for batching, blending, and testing to ensure product is within Kraft specifications. This is done by the following duties, personally or through working with others.

Ownership & Key Responsibilities

  • Run the batching system which controls the batching of raw ingredients into a finished product and Cleaning in Place (CIP).

  • Check the batches and record findings on the finish batch records and enter Unilab

  • Check process water and filler baths for levels of chlorine.

  • Obtain finished product samples during the day for Q. S. department.

  • Checking chemical levels used by the production department during cleaning of equipment.

  • Calibration of scales and thermometers.

  • Swabbing of the fillers after CIP and COP.

  • Making pipe swings to CIP.

  • Blend juices in port-a-tanks to be used in the finished batches.

  • Put incoming drums of juices and essences away.

  • Change port-a-tank when empty and replace with full port-a-tanks.

  • Sanitation of port-a-tanks.

  • PM on port-a-tank butterfly valves.

  • PM for sanitation once per week.

  • Check and document HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point).

  • Perform sanitation responsibilities as needed or required.

  • Must be able to use SAP for following FEFO

  • Accurate Connected Worker Data Entry

  • Daily 5S, CIL, CL and defect handling completion

  • Engage in all department activities required by the team, i.e. Base condition events.

  • Demonstrate a teamwork environment

  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Productivity Responsibility:

  • Actively participate in team goal setting/implementation to ensure that we are the low-cost, high-quality producer.

  • Strive to maximize the efficiency of the plant/department by submitting and implementing process improvements.

  • Troubleshoot and communicate issues throughout the department

  • Filling out defect cards

Quality Responsibility:

  • Ensure the quality of our products and our workplace by following all procedures and guidelines.

  • Comply with all established GMP's, HACCP guidelines, housekeeping responsibilities and KHMS operating procedures.

  • Assist in the implementation of the KHMS program and training of new associates.

Safety Responsibility:

  • Actively participate in team safety efforts to achieve/exceed plant goals.

  • Involvement & support of safety processes.

  • Required to perform all duties safely & use discretion to prevent injuries to self and/or others.

Qualifications

  • Required to drive forklift.

  • Working knowledge of computers.

  • SAP Usage

  • ZPI Knowledge

  • Travel as required
