They play a key role in ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for all pool guests.

What are the main responsibilities and challenges of working as a poolside attendant?

As a poolside attendant, your primary responsibilities include ensuring guest safety, maintaining cleanliness around the pool area, and providing excellent customer service by assisting guests with towels, seating, and refreshments. A common challenge is balancing guest requests during busy periods while keeping an eye out for potential safety hazards. Job description

About Fluidstack
We exist to make humanity more free. For most of human history, you farmed or you starved. Technology gave people more time for the things they wanted to do, instead of things they had to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built - but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. There are groups building AI who don't share these goals. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it.
We're singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them - with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI.
We hire people who care deeply about this problem space. If that is you, please apply!
About Fluidstack
At Fluidstack, we're building the infrastructure for abundant intelligence. We partner with top AI labs, governments, and enterprises - including Mistral, Poolside, Black Forest Labs, Meta, and more - to unlock compute at the speed of light.
We're working with urgency to make AGI a reality. As such, our team is highly motivated and committed to delivering world-class infrastructure. We treat our customers' outcomes as our own, taking pride in the systems we build and the trust we earn. If you're motivated by purpose, obsessed with excellence, and ready to work very hard to accelerate the future of intelligence, join us in building what's next.
Core Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain internal tools, automation systems, and software solutions across the organization
  • Develop scripts and applications to streamline operations and eliminate manual processes
  • Support engineering initiatives and ad-hoc technical projects for leadership
  • Design and implement data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting systems
  • Integrate and optimize third-party tools and APIs across business functions
  • Contribute to infrastructure automation and DevOps workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Day-to-Day
  • Work closely with leadership to execute on technical priorities
  • Write clean, maintainable code for internal tools and automation projects
  • Manage multiple concurrent software projects with a high degree of autonomy
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver solutions
  • Debug and optimize existing systems and processes
  • Continuously identify opportunities to solve problems through software and automation

What we Value
  • Strong programming fundamentals and software engineering practices
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to architect solutions from ambiguous requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
  • Strong communications & stakeholder management
  • Intrinsic bias towards action
  • Interest in or exposure to the tech/AI industry preferred but not required
  • Fluidstack is looking for someone who can "hit the ground running" and take full ownership of their work. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
  • 1-4 years of experience in a fast-paced, generalist operations or consulting role, ideally at a startup or scale-up
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or Physics
  • Experience with programming, scripting or statistical packages (e.g. Python, R, Matlab, SQL)
  • Track record of shipping projects independently in fast-paced environments
