JOB PURPOSE:

Maintains swimming pool water quality by testing weekly and cleaning pool components. Maintains

water purification systems, and oversee the activities of lifeguarding staff

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains swimming pool water quality by testing hourly and cleaning pool components weekly
  • Adds chemicals as needed.
  • Vacuums pools using pool vacuum daily

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to use, water tester, pool vacuum.
  • Ability to work in safe and efficient manner.
  • For managers, ability to make a schedule for lifeguards in a timely manner, and upload schedule onto Buddy Punch
  • Communicate with supervisory staff, about supply and maintenance needs
