We're seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing both residential and commercial pools to ensure they remain clean, safe, and operational. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Test and balance pool water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, etc.)
  • Vacuum and brush pools, clean skimmer and pump baskets, and backwash filters
  • Inspect and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and timers
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to water quality or equipment function
  • Perform scheduled weekly/monthly maintenance visits to client properties
  • Document service visits and maintain accurate records for each job
  • Maintain company vehicle and equipment in clean and safe condition
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding services, issues, and recommendations
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience as a pool technician preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Familiarity with basic mechanical systems and water chemistry
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
