What are pool sharks?

Pool sharks are highly skilled players of cue sports, particularly pool (also known as pocket billiards), who often use their expertise to win games, sometimes through hustling or disguising their true abilities. They may play casually at first to lure opponents into higher-stakes games, then reveal their advanced skills to win.
