Job description

McKay Pool and Spa is seeking a Pool Service professional to deliver reliable, high-quality pool and spa maintenance for customers.

Position Summary

In this full-time, onsite role, you’ll perform routine and preventative maintenance to keep pools and spas operating safely, efficiently, and according to customer expectations. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to diagnose common issues and complete service visits with professionalism and care.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in clean, well-maintained equipment, and values delivering dependable service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform pool and spa service visits, including scheduled maintenance and system checks

  • Inspect equipment and water systems to identify issues and determine appropriate next steps

  • Replace faulty equipment, pumps, filters, heaters, plumbing, liners, auto covers, ect.

  • Pool openings and closings, Weekly services and any general maintenance needed.

  • Maintain accurate service records, including completed tasks and observations from each visit

  • Ensure work areas are cleaned and equipment is handled safely and properly

  • Communicate clearly with customers and team members to support service quality and continuity

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work full time, in outdoor locations with various weather conditions and temperatures.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on maintenance tasks

  • Basic understanding of pool and spa maintenance practices and safe work habits

  • Willingness to follow established procedures and safety guidelines

  • Reliable attendance and a commitment to completing service calls thoroughly and on time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in pool, spa, or related maintenance or service work

  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving common equipment or system issues
