We're hiring a Server Assistant to join our team at Coral Casino Beach & Cabana Club, located right on Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful service. You'll play an important role in supporting our dining team and helping create memorable experiences for our Members and Guests.

What You'll Do

  • Create a warm, welcoming experience for Members and Guests from the moment they arrive.
  • Support servers by delivering food and beverages, clearing tables, and resetting dining areas efficiently.
  • Ensure tables are perfectly set and presentation standards are maintained throughout service.
  • Keep service stations stocked, organized, and ready for a seamless dining experience.
  • Anticipate guest needs by refilling water, assisting with requests, and communicating with the service team.
  • Maintain clean, polished dining areas, side stations, and service equipment.
  • Learn Club menus, service standards, and procedures to confidently support the team.
  • Communicate member requests and feedback to servers, kitchen staff, and managers.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and Club service standards.
  • Assist with special events and other operational needs as required.

Requirements

  • Must obtain and maintain a valid California Food Handler Card.
  • RBS certification required if applicable to the role.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the shift.
  • The Club complies with all California meal and rest break requirements.
