Job description

Epic Hot Tubs & Swim Spas is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair hot tubs and swim spas throughout the Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill Triangle area.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in mechanical repair, electrical troubleshooting, appliance repair, HVAC service, pool service, or field service technician work who enjoys hands-on work and solving technical problems.

Our technicians work independently in the field diagnosing equipment, completing repairs, and helping customers enjoy their spa investment.

Key Responsibilities Service & Repair

  • Diagnose and repair hot tubs, swim spas, pumps, motors, heaters, and control systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Perform scheduled service calls and preventative maintenance
  • Identify and resolve equipment issues during service visits
  • Order and track parts required for repairs
  • Document service work and communicate findings with the team

Installation & Setup

  • Assist with or complete hot tub and swim spa deliveries and installations
  • Ensure proper setup, startup, and operation of spa systems
  • Test equipment to confirm proper function after installation

Customer Service

  • Provide friendly, professional service during customer visits
  • Clearly explain repairs, maintenance needs, and equipment operation
  • Represent Epic Hot Tubs & Swim Spas professionally in the field

Vehicle & Equipment Management

  • Maintain company service vehicle, tools, and equipment
  • Track service inventory and materials needed for service calls

Additional Responsibilities

  • Test and maintain spa water chemistry
  • Participate in ongoing training and skill development
  • Follow company safety and service procedures

Qualifications Required

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a field service environment
