Job description

Introduction:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on residential and/or commercial swimming pools. The candidate should have knowledge of chemical testing and balancing, pool filtration operations, pumps, and other pool equipment; including electronic automation (preferred). The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be a self motivator and team player.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning swimming pools, testing and balancing pool chemicals, checking filters and pumps, and inspecting systems for proper operation
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions in pool systems, including motors, pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand reported issues and provide clear details of necessary repairs.
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and equipment inventory for each job performed.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a pool repair mechanic.
  • At least two years of experience in pool equipment service, installation, and repair.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to speak English (bilingual is a plus).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
