Job description

Borough of Tenafly-Municipal Pool is looking for certified summer lifeguards from
May 24 th (Memorial Day) to September 1st (Labor Day) for our new Municipal Pool
located in Tenafly, NJ.
Job Responsibilities: Supervise pool occupancy, check in guests and verify pool
passes, must be able to address pool violations and violators, administer swim lessons,
closely monitoring activities related to the pool area and identify any safety issues,
administer first aid in the event of injury or emergency, rescue swimmers in distress
or danger of drowning, and administer CPR, if necessary.
Qualifications: High School or equivalent, Certified Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid
certification required, Swim Instructor certification a plus
Job Type: Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary
Pay: $15.50 per hour
Schedule: Day shift, Evening shift, flexible schedule
Work Location: 165 Grove Street, Tenafly
