Pay: $22 - $28 per hour

Job Summary:
The Pool Lifeguard ensures the safety of all guests in and around the resort's saltwater pool. This role involves monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety regulations, and responding to emergencies while providing a welcoming and relaxing environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor guest activity in and around the pool area to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Enforce all safety rules and pool policies to ensure a secure environment.
  • Provide immediate emergency response, including CPR, First Aid, and water rescues.
  • Perform regular safety checks of pool equipment and surrounding areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and lounge areas.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down pool furniture and umbrellas.
  • Provide guests with exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries.
  • Participate in routine training and emergency drills.

Qualifications:
  • Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross or equivalent).
  • CPR/AED and First Aid Certification required.
  • Strong swimming skills and the ability to perform water rescues.
  • Previous lifeguarding experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to swim and perform lifesaving techniques.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
  • Standing, walking, and being poolside for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in outdoor pool environments.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:
