Resident Assistant (RA) – Float Pool

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking compassionate and dependable Resident Assistants (RAs) to join our Float Pool team. This unique opportunity allows you to work at various Monarch communities throughout Minnesota while enjoying the flexibility to pick up shifts based on facility needs.

Position Summary

As a Float Pool Resident Assistant, you will provide high-quality, resident-centered care to tenants in assisted living communities. Working under the supervision of a licensed nurse or Assisted Living Clinical Manager, you will assist tenants with activities of daily living while promoting independence, dignity, comfort, and overall well-being.

You will play an important role as part of the interdisciplinary care team by supporting each tenant's physical, mental, and psychosocial needs while helping them maintain the highest possible quality of life.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting tenants with activities of daily living, including personal care and hygiene

  • Supporting tenant mobility, safety, comfort, and independence

  • Providing basic nursing and restorative care services according to individual service plans

  • Observing and reporting changes in tenant conditions to the nursing team

  • Supporting tenants with cognitive impairments and addressing social and emotional needs

  • Building positive relationships with tenants, families, and team members

  • Maintaining accurate documentation as required

  • Supporting individualized care plans and tenant preferences

  • Assisting with medication administration after completing required training, as applicable

  • Delivering care in accordance with MDH standards, the Tenant Bill of Rights, and community policies
