About the Role
In this role, you'll receive hands-on, on-the-job training while working alongside experienced Pool Technicians to learn the fundamentals of pool cleaning, equipment service, and repair. You'll assist with pool openings and closings, support equipment upgrades and installations, and gain valuable technical skills in a real-world setting. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn a skilled trade, work outdoors, and build a foundation for a long-term career in pool service and maintenance.
General Summary of Position
In this position you will receive on-the-job training and will be responsible for assisting Pool Technicians on cleaning pools, servicing and repairing pool-related equipment; helping them perform Opening and Closing of pools and upgrading and installing equipment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Assist with swimming pool cleanings, water testing, and the removal and installation of pool covers and pool equipment
  • Support Service Technicians with basic pool and equipment repairs, including leak detection, plumbing assistance, and equipment servicing or replacement
  • Load, unload, and organize service vehicles for daily routes; assist with material handling and general vehicle and job-site housekeeping
  • Safely handle and apply pool chemicals, including chlorine, algaecides, pH balancers, and muriatic acid, in accordance with manufacturer and technician instructions
  • Interact with Service Technicians, scheduling team, and management to support repair and maintenance schedules and promote efficient, quality service
  • Answer basic customer questions regarding pool maintenance, equipment operation, and service recommendations in a helpful and professional manner
  • Learn and utilize the Work Order platform for accurate and timely service documentation; assist with promoting equipment upgrades and service offerings as directed, with overtime and Saturday work required during peak seasons
  • Other duties as assigned
