We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Representative specializing in Pool Construction and Renovations. In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our customer base, showcasing our premium pool products and renovation services, and building lasting relationships with clients. Your energetic approach and technical expertise will help turn prospects into loyal customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service from initial consultation through project completion. Responsibilities

  • Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the pool construction and renovation market, engaging potential clients through outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct detailed client consultations to understand their needs, preferences, and budget, providing expert guidance on pool designs, lighting options, remodeling ideas, and related fixtures.
  • Prepare comprehensive layout designs using SketchUp or CAD software to illustrate proposed pool layouts, lighting schemes, and remodeling concepts that align with client visions.
  • Demonstrate product features through engaging demos, highlighting benefits of lighting design, fixtures, and renovation options to upsell additional services or upgrades.
  • Negotiate pricing, project scope, and terms with clients to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability.
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure client specifications are accurately translated into on-site execution.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, follow-up visits, and exceptional service to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Utilize CRM systems proficiently to track leads, manage client information, and monitor sales progress efficiently.
  • Stay informed about industry trends in lighting sales, remodeling techniques, and construction materials to provide innovative solutions that meet high-end customer expectations.
  • Handle inside sales inquiries via phone or email promptly while supporting retail merchandising efforts in the showroom or retail locations.

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales within the pool construction or remodeling industry is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in layout design using SketchUp or CAD software for project visualization.
  • QuickBooks experience to create invoices preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals in a competitive environment.
  • Construction experience or background in renovation projects enhances understanding of technical requirements.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse clientele effectively.
  • Familiarity with lighting design principles and fixture sales is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), POS systems, CRM platforms, and basic math skills for accurate estimates and proposals.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and organizational skills to manage multiple projects seamlessly.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with an emphasis on relationship building and client satisfaction.
