We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned VIP Guest Recognition Specialist to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team!

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for VIP guests, ensuring their arrival, stay, and departure exceed their expectations. Provide personalized, attentive service and handle all special requests with discretion.
  • Based on detailed guest profiles and preferences, anticipate and fulfill VIP guest preferences and special requests, including room setup, dining arrangements, and exclusive amenities.
  • Collaborate with various hotel departments (concierge, housekeeping, food and beverage, etc.) to coordinate and ensure seamless execution of VIP services and requests.
  • Create and deliver unique and memorable experiences tailored to each VIP guest. This may include personalized welcome amenities, bespoke itineraries, and special surprises.
  • Actively solicit and listen to guest feedback, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles, including detailed records of preferences and special requests to enhance personalized service.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve and innovate guest experiences.
  • Handle room reservations by always managing available accommodation and rates.
  • Handle multiple telephone calls simultaneously with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Conduct final inspections of VIP rooms to ensure they meet high standards before guest arrival.
  • Greet guests with genuine warmth and professionalism upon their arrival in the lobby. Provide a gracious and friendly introduction to the hotel's amenities and services.
  • Assist guests with inquiries about hotel services, facilities, local attractions, and directions.
  • Provide personalized recommendations and information to enhance their stay
  • Assist with other tasks as required and where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests
Qualifications
  • High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous experience in a guest-facing role within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
  • Outstanding problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, maintaining composure in challenging situations.
  • Impeccable grooming and professional appearance, adhering to the hotel's dress code and high standards.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure every aspect of the VIP guest experience is flawlessly executed.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by VIP guest schedules and hotel operations.
  • Strong proficiency in using hotel management software and computer systems.
