Their duties often include setting up lounge chairs, providing towels, taking food and drink orders, answering questions about pool amenities, and assisting with guest requests. Pool Concierges may also help maintain a clean and welcoming environment, manage reservations for poolside cabanas, and coordinate special events or activities. Their goal is to enhance guest satisfaction by offering attentive and personalized service around the pool.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a pool concierge, and why are they important?

Job description

You turn unforgettable stays into future stays. You listen closely, notice what each couple values, and are comfortable asking for the sale once you've earned their trust. This is a cross-trained, relationship-based sales role spanning BOLT FARM's Front Desk, Happy Hour, and Wellness Haven - not a traditional front-desk job.
BOLT FARM is building America's most iconic romantic luxury retreat brand, backed by 3,300+ five-star reviews, 1M+ followers, and features in Forbes, Travel + Leisure, and Netflix. If you turn genuine connection into confident action, this is your seat.
The Role
You'll be cross-trained across the Front Desk and Wellness Haven and assigned to either - or both in the same shift - based on business needs. Wherever you're working, the job is the same: build trust, learn what the guest values, recommend what will make their stay better, confidently ask for the close, and record the details accurately so nothing falls through the cracks between teammates.
Happy Hour is the role's signature rebooking moment - you'll host it, build rapport, and invite guests to protect their next stay while the emotion is still fresh. Beyond that, you'll recommend and convert rebookings, spa treatments and packages, retail, celebration add-ons, stay extensions, and new reservations, always matched to what the guest actually wants rather than a one-size-fits-all pitch.
What You'll Do
Deliver polished arrivals, orientations, and departures at the Front Desk; manage guest intake, scheduling, and provider coordination in the Wellness Haven.
Host and work Happy Hour and property events, including responsible alcohol service.
Recommend and close rebookings, spa services, retail, experiences, and stay extensions.
Process payments and keep guest notes, intake details, and handoffs accurate in Company systems.
Coordinate with Spa, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and onsite leadership to resolve guest requests and escalate what you can't.
Maintain a calm, luxury-ready environment at both the Front Desk and in the Wellness Haven.
Compensation & Growth
This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly role requiring evening, weekend, holiday, and event availability. Pay includes a competitive hourly base, a team commission pool on rebookings, spa, retail, experiences, and new reservations, and a guest-satisfaction (NPS) incentive.
What We're Looking For
18+ (21+ where alcohol service applies), authorized to work in the U.S., able to work onsite in Whitwell, TN.
Guest-facing hospitality, spa, retail, or sales experience preferred; comfort discussing pricing and confidently asking for the sale is required.
Strong communication, accuracy under pressure, and comfort learning ClickUp, and other Company systems.
Valid driver's license and insurable record; alcohol-server permit or ability to obtain one.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Who Thrives Here
People who build trust quickly, notice what needs attention without being told, and see selling as part of great service rather than in conflict with it. This isn't the seat for someone who wants front-desk hours without sales accountability, or who waits behind a desk for guests to come to them. If this isn't a hell yes, it isn't your seat.
Equal Opportunity Employer
BOLT FARM is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
