Job description

Concierge Ambassador Attendant

To ensure a hospitable and professional atmosphere throughout the entire property. Serve all guests while providing the highest level of service in an efficient, courteous, professional manner. A concierge ambassador attendant has superior guest service skills serving as support to front office and beverage departments. They are extremely motivated and are willing to go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.

Essential Functions:

  • Complete all items on the daily checklist
  • Complete all daily and weekly cleaning and organizational tasks
  • Attendance as scheduled is required
  • Greet guests upon entering the lobby with a sincere smile and welcome
  • Facilitate the needs of the guest such as room reservations, upselling restaurant reservations, daily requests, etc.
  • Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars
  • Possess the ability to anticipate the needs of guests, working to satisfy requests before they've even been made
  • Be very knowledgeable about the hotel & its services, local area, local events, attractions, sightseeing and cultural events
  • Be able to prioritize job functions to best satisfy the guest
  • Provides the highest quality of service to guests at all times
  • PM shift Attendant must have alcohol knowledge
  • Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work area associated with the job function
  • Assist the restocking and replenishment of product and supplies as stipulated in the shift duties
  • Keeps the lounge running smoothly and does their best to make sure all guests leave satisfied
  • Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and life safety procedures, and follows all key control procedures
  • Wears proper uniform and nametag at all times in accordance with the standards of personal appearance guidelines in the employee handbook
  • Performs all other duties deemed necessary by management

Minimum position requirements:

  • Ability to read and write as well as speak clearly in English. (High school diploma)
  • Experience: Hospitality experiences F&B Knowledge a plus.
  • Skills: Effective and clear communication skills. Professional and friendly hospitality skills. TIPs certification or other alcohol serves safe certification is required.
  • Ability to work with high profile guests and their demanding needs.
  • Able to multi-task and organize thoughts, and tasks within the same given time.
  • Creative food presentation and cleanliness of lounge
  • Embraces change in day to day tasks to create success
  • Supports teamwork to achieve better results more efficiently
  • Contributes and maintains an environment to go above and beyond to satisfy all guests
