Description

Stewards/dishwashers work with cooks, servers, and bussers to maintain kitchen cleanliness and responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and drying all China, glassware, silverware, and other kitchen equipment.  


Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Clean all kitchen and dining supplies appropriately including handwashing and loading/unloading dishwashing machines
  • Ensure adequate amounts of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils are available for use
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dishwashing areas, trash/disposal areas, and soiled linen areas 
  • Support back-of-house operations especially pertaining to food quality, safety standards, food rotation, and storage
