Job description

Poolsure, An Aquasol Company, is searching for a Commercial Pool Technician to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA.

A Commercial Pool Technician at Poolsure is primarily responsible for performing general maintenance, safety surveys, equipment installations, customer training and small repairs at client-owned sites.

The individual is provided with a company vehicle and begins and ends their day from their primary residence. The daily work includes traveling to customer worksites to perform equipment installs and general maintenance on equipment across southern LA and western MS. Travel to the satellite location in Baton Rouge and/or Luling is not required daily.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Install Chemical Control Equipment
  • Train property managers and pool operators to maintain a safe aquatic environment
  • Educate customers on safety within our area of expertise
  • Inspect commercial swimming pools and identify operational or safety issues; communicate findings to clients
  • Diagnose pool equipment issues and prepare repair quotes and recommendations, as needed
  • Maintain accurate inventory of tools, parts, and materials on the company service vehicle
  • Install and replace pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems

Requirements:

  • Experience in pool operations and maintenance
  • Mechanically included and comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Openness to learning and incorporating new technologies into daily work
  • A clean driving record and the ability to meet background check and drug screening requirements are preferred
  • Must be reliable and willing to work some overtime, potentially including weekends during busier times
