Job description

Pool attendant is responsible for monitoring compliance with pool rules, maintaining a clean and orderly environment, and reporting issues—not providing water rescue services or supervising swimmers for safety.


Duties include (but not 100% Limited to):


Access Control


Verify resident and guests as they enter and use FOB to access

Check pool FOBS.

Under 16 must have a 16+ with them


Rule Enforcement


Enforce HOA pool rules and posted regulations.

Address prohibited behavior such as:

Running on the pool deck.

Glass containers in the pool area.

Unauthorized guests.

Smoking or vaping.

Excessive noise or disruptive conduct.

Document rule violations and report them to management.

Remind residents to close umbrellas when leaving


Facility Monitoring


Conduct periodic inspections of the pool area.

Ensure gates and fencing remain secured.

Check that safety equipment is present and unobstructed.

Report maintenance, cleanliness, or safety concerns.


Cleaning and Organization


Straighten chairs, tables, and umbrellas.

Remove trash and debris from the pool deck if left behind

Close umbrellas if left open.

Keep restrooms and common areas tidy (depending on HOA expectations).


Resident Assistance


Answer questions regarding pool rules and hours.

Contact management or emergency services when necessary.
