California Waters, Southern California's Leading Commercial Fountain and Water Feature Service and Repair Company Is Growing Fast and Seeks New Full-Time Experienced Workers in Orange County and Los Angeles!

Job Description

 You will be responsible for servicing the cleanliness of the water and of the equipment of fountains and water features, lakes and streams. You will be working outdoors, mainly at large shopping centers, office buildings and public parks.

Regular hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Friday, plus overtime, including on some Saturdays, each as needed. 

Daily cleaning activities include: net, scrub, vacuum, test water quality and add proper amount of chemicals. You will also obtain supplies from office and stores, change small working parts, report unusual problems to office, maintain detailed written daily log, assist with large repairs and special projects, and drive to each location. You MUST have at least two years of direct commercial pool or water feature cleaning and maintenance experience to apply for this position, please. Some experience with pumps, motors, filters, controls, etc. is required. Our customers are large, well-known companies who demand excellence and so do we.

We are not a seasonal or summer-only business, we stay busy all year-round. This is NOT an independent contractor situation - you will be our full-time employee, paid hourly, NOT paid per job or stop. You will be driving our work truck, use our gas card, use our equipment (but bring your own hand tools), be issued our Android smartphone, and be given our monogrammed shirts and hats, and issued waders. Our benefits package is excellent and includes: Health, Dental, Life Insurance, Sick Days, Vacation Days, Paid Holidays, 401(K) with 8% Company Match, and more.

Qualifications

If you are CPO Certified, or if you have a L.A. County Department of Health Pool Technician Certification that is a huge plus.

Prior experience in, or knowledge of, plumbing, electrical, construction, lakes, ponds, steams, or commercial janitorial industries is preferred, but is NOT required.

Fluent English IS Required: Speaking, Reading and Writing.

Valid California Driver's License and a Clean DMV Record ARE Required.

You must be able to lift heavy objects and work outdoors, in all seasons, on your feet, often wading in knee-high water.

You must be Reliable, On-Time, Friendly, Honest and Hard-Working.

You must be able to Work Independently and Unsupervised.

Additional Information

Hourly wage, based upon experience. Paid training period and all tools/equipment/uniforms necessary to perform work will be provided.
