About the Role

Truckee Tavern is looking for a reliable, skilled Line/Prep Cook to join our daytime kitchen crew. If you love the energy of a busy lunch rush, take pride in a clean station, and want a consistent schedule that actually lets you have your evenings free, we want to talk to you.

What Youll Do:

  • Prep for Success: Knock out daily prep for lunch and help set up the dinner crew for success (sauces, proteins, veggies).
  • Rock the Line: Own your station during the busy lunch push with urgency and focus.
  • Master the Grill: Execute proteins and grill items consistently to standard.
  • Keep it Clean: Maintain an organized, sanitary station before, during, and after service.
  • Be a Team Player: Support other stations when needed and communicate clearly with the team.
