Overview
Be a part of our expanding Everline Resort & Spa team. The Maintenance Tech is responsible for working in a team environment to ensure the overall upkeep and eye appeal of all Everline Resorts pool & spas and grounds. They will use a variety of tools, machines and other necessary materials to provide maintenance to the grounds and the resorts pool, hot tub, and water feature facilities. The Maintenance Tech will strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times and for exemplifying the Everline Resort Culture as well as promoting Everline Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice! There are swing shifts, overnight shifts, and day shifts available!

Responsibilities
  • Performs a wide variety of daily work on resort pool & spa maintenance
  • balancing chemicals, cleaning of pools and spas.
  • Clean tiles, skimmer baskets, vacuum bodies of water
  • Make repairs as needed with PVC lines in pool
  • Ensure upkeep and storage of all pool chemicals
  • Monitor all pool and spa heaters repair as necessary
  • Perform daily checklists for pool area, and log all chemical readings.
  • Performs periodic Quality control check on spas
  • Assist with snow removal and operating snow removal equipment in the winter time
  • Be able to assist with shoveling snow in the winter time.
  • Effectively fulfills job requirements in a safe and efficient manner
  • Comply with all Everline Resort's policies, procedures and SAFETY regulations
  • Comply with Everline Resort's grooming and uniform policy
  • Inspects machinery and mechanical equipment for defects
  • Dismantles machines or equipment to gain access to defective parts and repairs them, using hand tools.
  • Repairs and replaces gages, valves, pressure regulators and other plumbing equipment.
  • Makes minor repairs on electrical or replaces wiring and fixtures
  • Paint walls, floors and fixtures of establishment, using spray gun and brushes
  • Responsible for assisting in the routine upkeep and landscape
  • Uses hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge and brunch trimmers and axes
  • Gathers and removes litter
  • Maintains and repairs grounds tools and equipment
  • Provides proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters and other ground features
  • Assists with repairs of irrigations systems
  • Always maintains a professional demeanor, appearance and attitude

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic electrical and plumbing experience (desired)
  • CPO certification or equivalent knowledge pertaining to pools and spas (desired)
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Experience with customer service preferred
  • Mechanically Inclined
  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must have valid Driver's license and meet company driving standards
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (rain, sleet, ice, snow and heat)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to an indoor and outdoor working environment and the noise level in the work place is usually moderate to high.
  • Typical equipment used include but are not limited to hand tools, power tools, shovels, and computers.
